The Myths of Maui luau is the perfect way to experience Hawaiian culture, food, and music. Held at the beautiful Royal Lahaina Resort, this luau has been running for over 40 years and is one of the most popular luaus on Maui. The last rays of a spectacular sunset, beating drums and the call of the conch shell signal the start of Maui’s most exciting and longest running Polynesian luau. When you arrive, you will be greeted with a shell lei and then witness the unearthing of the pig – a traditional luau tradition.
Savor complimentary Mai Tais, Blue Hawaii cocktails, beer, wine, and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages Then sit down to a delicious Hawaiian feast, complete with a keiki (kids) buffet. As you eat, you’ll be entertained by live Hawaiian music and an exciting Polynesian dance show. The show features dancers from all over Polynesia – including Aotearoa, Tahiti, Hawaii, and Samoa – and ends with a dazzling fire knife finale. You can even have a photo opportunity with the dancers after the show.

The Facilities at the Royal Lahaina Resort and Luau are wheelchair accessible.
Is Seating Pre-Assigned?
Seating is assigned. However, you will be able to upgrade to first row seating for an additional amount. Preferred Seating also gets you first in line for the buffet. Not all Maui luaus have preferred seating, but the Royal Lahaina Luau in Ka'anapali does!
What Is The Best Way To Dress For A Night At The Luau?
Casual and comfortable. We recommend loose waistbands! You’ll want to bring a light jacket or sweater as the evenings can get cool.
May I Use A Stroller At The Myths Of Maui Luau?
Yes, strollers are permitted. Please be mindful of the following guidelines: Do not leave personal belongings in an unattended stroller Designated areas will be assigned for stroller parking Strollers may be moved by luau cast or crew due to operational needs Strollers larger than 36" x 52" and wagons are not permitted
